Gone in 5 seconds!

Murphy loves this food. He inhales it . He always checks his bowl to see if he left any behind.

Doesn't seem good

I am unsure if this is how it's supposed to look but I felt too uneasy to feed my dogs this. (Photo of food at bottom of the can). The rest looked like normal pate.

Spoiled dogs, won't eat it

I cook them liver every other day. I was taking an easy way out by trying this. My dogs won't eat it. I guess I'll donate the cans

Whitefish is okay with me

I see quite a few people are unhappy with the whitefish...I have a GSD with perianal fistulas, he does best with whitefish, it's very hard to find dog food, dry or wet with majority ingredient of whitefish. I don't love the pate consistency, the food is described by the company as pate. The odor, isn't any worse than the other canned foods I've tried, perhaps those who had a rotten fish smell, had a bad, old or overheated batch. I cannot see any of the pieces of carrots or other vegetables mentioned in other comments, it's highly processed and the ingredients are unrecognizable. I have 2 GSDs both are 5.5yrs, a 3yrs GPD, none are picky eaters, just need to cater to the boy with health issues. Solid Gold should probably change the front label to avoid unhappy customers. I recently purchased a canned food, Wellness Core grain free whitefish, salmon, & herring formula at $4.15 per can, without reading the ingredients listed on the back of the can...got it home, number one ingredient is CHICKEN! Which my boy cannot have, very disappointing and a lesson to take the time to read the ingredients. Overall, I'm content with this food, always room for improvements.

no grains in this

I love that I can give a different dog food to our one dog which is grain sensitive. He loves this food and looks forward to eating something different from time to time.

Picky senior

My senior dog loves this. He is very picky, so glad I found something he likes

Solid Gold has kept my 11 year old dog young.

It works for Stella, 11 year old Lab/Border Collie mix. I feel this food has extended her life. Her eyes sparkle, her coat shines, lots of energy.

Eight euthanasia listed rescues won't eat

Bought six cases of this , thinking it was 12 can cases , and so far none of my dogs will eat it . My red pitbull Simba licked it but the others smelled it and walked away .

Misleading marketing

You would think that a product marked as grain free "95% Beef" would be just beef and vegetables. WRONG! The third ingredient is "whitefish"! As soon as I popped the lid, the overpowering smell of rotting fish filled the house. I use the term "rotting" because fresh seafood has little to no smell. This was more like fish sitting in the sun for a day or more. So, when my dog wanted nothing to do with this food, I couldn't blame him. If the company wants to be honest, at least change the name to "Surf and Turf."

To much Fish

I would rather pay more for a product that delivers what I want instead of a product that makes me feel like I'm buying something that it isn't, there is to much Whitefish in here and my dog is intolerable to fish.
